Massimo Campostrini's Home Page

I was born in Verona in 1960.

I studied physics from 1978 to 1985 at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa.

I am a researcher at the Sezione di Pisa of INFN, the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics).

My physical workplace is located at the Physics Department of Pisa University.

I am a theoretical physicist. Most of my research is devoted to lattice quantum field theory and to statistical mechanics.

You can retrieve my publication list. It is not always up-to-date. To retrieve my recent papers, it is better to search the preprint database.

I worked for the organization of the Lattice '99 conference in Pisa, and I am co-editor of the proceedings.

For many years, I taught an introduction to the standard model of the fundamental interactions, supplementing Adriano Di Giacomo's theoretical physics classes. Starting in 2002, I am teaching numerical methods in theoretical physics for the Laurea Specialistica in Scienze Fisiche.

Please enjoy a side trip to my hobby page. A separate page is devoted to classical music. You can also admire a few pictures of me.

Finally, long long ago I wrote a page devoted to Netscape extensions bashing, but I transformed it into a plea for open Web pages (by now this plea itself is hopelessly out of date and I should rewrite it).
