Curriculum

Francesca studied at the University of Lecce (Italy) where she got her Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Physics in 2004. Within the same year, she started her master study at the University of Pisa (Italy), where she got her Master of Science degree with distinction in Applied Physics in 2006, discussing a thesis intitled ‘In vivo dose monitoring in proton therapy with Positron Emission Tomography’. Today, she is a postgraduate student at the Specialty School in Medical Physics, at the University of Pisa and, at the same time, she is involved in the development of techniques for dose monitoring in hadron therapy with positron emission tomography.
