Curriculum

Daniel is a brazilian doctorate student in physics at the University of São Paulo – USP (Brazil) since 2007. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from USP in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He was a medical physics intern at the Institute of Electrotechnics and Energy – USP from 2000 to 2003. He worked as a laboratory specialist in the Laboratory of Nonlinear Phenomena - USP from 2004 to 2006. Since September 2008, he is doing his partial doctorate program at the University of Pisa (Italy) with financial support from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq (Brazil).

  • Monte Carlo simulation of PET/PEM systems
  • Image Reconstruction Methods for Emission Tomography
