As in the past years, I tested the first year students with the same random test given in the last 6 or 7 years. The test was held on the Friday of Week One, when all students should have arrived. Notably, the ratio between students from outside Tuscany and students from Tuscany has changed (this year, approx 60% are from outside the region, against a typical 40% from outside the region in the past few years). Knowledge wise, it seems to me that little has changed: students from outside the region perform slightly better than students from the region, and have a slightly higher Maturita` mark.
