The double degree is an integrated study path in which the curriculum is designed jointly by two universities with the aim of training highly qualified professionals in the field of Physics and, at the end of the courses, obtaining the final national qualifications from both institutions.<\/p>\n\n
Participants will spend the first and second semesters at their home institution and the third and fourth semesters at the partner university. The thesis will be co-supervised, involving a supervisor from each of the partner universities. Lectures and exams, including the thesis and the final graduation, will be conducted in English.<\/p>\n\n
Students of the Master\u2019s Degree in Physics have the opportunity to participate in the Pisa-Paris Double Degree Programme<\/strong>, Plasma or Fundamental Interactions curriculum, in which the institutions involved are the Sorbonne Universit\u00e9 and the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Below are the study plans that can be chosen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n For further information: Prof. Francesco Califano<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n Starting from the academic year 2023\/2024, students of the Master\u2019s Degree in Physics have the opportunity to participate in the Mainz-Pisa Double Degree Program<\/strong>, in which the institutions involved are the Johannes Gutenberg-Universit\u00e4t Mainz (JGU) and the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the end of the course, participants will be awarded a qualification by both universities: the JGU degree certificate will be issued in German and English, the UniPi degree certificate will be issued in Italian and English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Further information and application details are available in the brochure below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n For further information: Prof. Francesco Forti<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n The program, with an admission exam held during the first semester of the third year of the Bachelor\u2019s degree, begins in the second semester of the same year and includes a return to Pisa for the final year of the Master\u2019s degree. The total duration of the six-year program reflects the extremely broad academic offering at \u00c9cole Polytechnique, where, in addition to a wide range of courses in Physics and Mathematics, students will take courses (some of which required) in Chemistry, Computer Science, Biophysics, Economics, and electives in Humanities and Social Sciences, Management and Innovation. Research internships in laboratories and industry are also included. Language courses will be available as well. In particular, students without prior knowledge of French will attend an intensive introductory course during the first two months at X.
