Fermi\u201d at the University of Pisa is organizing the Open Days for the Master\u2019s Degree in Physics, scheduled for April 15 and 16, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two days dedicated to university orientation, designed to offer a closer look at the Department\u2019s academic programs and research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Open Days program for the Master\u2019s Degree in Physics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Open Days, students will have the opportunity to experience the Department firsthand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morning:<\/strong> guided tours of the research laboratories, to discover ongoing scientific activities (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScMSe-3CPZia606VOudvDm46aQ8V6RxHheK543Cu3rg1evlGw\/viewform\">registration form for the laboratory visit<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afternoon:<\/strong> meetings with Master\u2019s Degree faculty members, who will present courses, study paths, and academic opportunities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative represents a key moment for students to orient themselves in choosing a Master\u2019s Degree in Physics, offering direct contact with professors, researchers, and study environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The inauguration of the radio telescope<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most anticipated moments will be the inauguration of the Department\u2019s radio telescope\u2014the largest in Italy for educational use\u2014scheduled for April 15 at 6:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will feature distinguished guests:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Roberto Vittori, astronaut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Piero Bianucci, science journalist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Riccardo Zucchi, Rector of the University of Pisa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the ceremony, the winning project of the contest for the creation of the radio telescope\u2019s name and logo will also be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An opportunity to learn about the Master\u2019s Degree in Physics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Open Days are designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the Department, highlighting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the quality of advanced education in physics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>opportunities to participate in research projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>academic and professional prospects after graduation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Support for out-of-town students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To encourage participation, the Department has launched a call offering financial support for students enrolled at other universities who will travel to attend the event.
