Mi occupo in particolare\r\n1) dello studio dell'interazione nucleare, nell'ambito di teorie effettive che permettono di collegare l'interazione con la teoria fondamentale della QCD;\r\n2) dello sviluppo di metodi ab-initio sempre pi\u00f9 accurati per il calcolo delle osservabili nucleari;\r\n3) del calcolo di sezioni d'urto per reazioni nucleari di interesse astrofisico. Queste predizioni teoriche sono essenziali per la teoria della nucleosintesi subito dopo il Big Bang Nucleosynthesis e per la modellizzazione dell'evoluzione stellare.\r\n\r\nUltimamente, i metodi ab-initio sviluppati dal mio gruppo di ricerca sono stati utilizzati per studiare le reazioni nucleari presenti nei reattori nucleari a fusione. Questa attivit\u00e0 di ricerca mi ha permesso di creare una collaborazione proficua con realt\u00e0 imprenditoriali pisane.\r\n\r\nPer maggiori informazioni: <a href=\"https:\/\/osiris.df.unipi.it\/~marcucci\/\">https:\/\/osiris.df.unipi.it\/~marcucci\/<\/a>","attivita_en":"My research activity takes place in the field of theoretical nuclear physics.\r\nIn particular, I am mainly focused\r\n1) on the study of the nuclear interaction, using effective field theories which allow to connect the physics of nuclei with the underlying fundamental theory of QCD;\r\n2) on the development of accurate ab-initio methods for the study of various nuclear observables;\r\n3) on the predictions of cross sections for nuclear reactions of astrophysical interest. These theoretical predictions\u00a0 are essential for the theory of Big Bang Nucleosynthesis, and for stellar evolution.\r\n\r\nRecently, the ab-initio methods developed by my research group have been applied to study nuclear reactions involved in fusion nuclear reactors.
