Andrea \u00e8 stato uno dei principali autori del codice tuttora di maggior utilizzo nel campo delle simulazioni per la fisica delle particelle, per applicazioni mediche e simulazioni aerospaziali.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dal 2019 dirige le attivit\u00e0 di R&amp;D avanzate a Pix4D, con particolare enfasi all\u2019applicazione di soluzioni basate su intelligenza artificiale e machine learning a problemi di computer vision. L\u2019azienda, riconosciuto leader nel campo della fotogrammetria, sviluppa soluzioni software cloud, desktop e mobile per la realizzazione di modelli 2D (mappe) e 3D (nuvole di punti e mesh) utilizzando immagini digitali. Le applicazioni principali sono nel campo del rilevamento e mappatura; architettura, ingegneria e costruzioni; agricoltura di precisione; energia, utilities e ispezione; nell\u2019ambito forense e sicurezza pubblica.
