Seminars aim to introduce students and PhD candidates to a broad range of topics related to quantum science and technology, as well as providing an opportunity for researchers and professors to discuss new directions for advancing the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first session, titled \u201cInter and intra particle entanglement as a resource for integrated quantum photonics,\u201d will be led by Prof. Lorenzo Pavesi from the University of Trento <strong>on January 29th, 2025, at 4:00 PM<\/strong>, classroom Gerace, Department of Computer Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming seminars are scheduled for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>February 26th, 2025<\/strong>, at 4 PM, classroom Gerace of the Department of Computer Science: \u201cJosephson nanocircuits as a suitable platform for implementing quantum thermoelectric machines,\u201d seminar led by Dr. Francesco Giazotto from the Nanoscience Institute &#8211; CNR, Pisa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>March 12th<\/strong>, 2025 (classroom to be defined): \u201cPhotonic platforms for quantum technology applications,\u201d seminar led by Prof. Alberto Bramati from the Kastler Brossel Laboratory, Sorbonne University, Paris<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>April 2025<\/strong> (classroom and topic to be defined): seminar led by Prof. Jukka Pekola from Aalto University, Finland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>May 2025<\/strong> (classroom to be defined): \u201cThe Quantum Revolution in Metrology,\u201d seminar led by Prof. Klaus von Klitzing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminars are organized by Federica Bianco, researcher at CNR NANO, Pisa, and Federico Paolucci, professor in the Department of Physics.
