Wilson<\/strong>, Nobel Prize laureate in Physics and a pioneer of lattice field theories (<em>Lattice Gauge Theory<\/em>). Established in 2011, the award is presented annually by an international committee to young researchers who have made <strong>outstanding contributions to the field within seven years of completing their PhD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claudio Bonanno, who graduated in 2017 and obtained his PhD in 2021 at the University of Pisa, is <strong>the first Italian researcher to receive this award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prize was announced and presented during the international conference <strong>Lattice 2025<\/strong>, held from <strong>November 2 to 8, 2025<\/strong>, at the <strong>Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR)<\/strong> in Mumbai, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the conference, Bonanno presented the research that earned him the award.
