The prestigious international science website Phys.org<\/a> has published an in-depth article on the study \u201cTriggering electron capture supernovae: Dark matter effects in degenerate white-dwarf-like cores of super-asymptotic giant branch stars<\/strong>\u201d.
The research is the result of a collaboration between Ignazio Bombaci<\/strong>, professor at the Department of Physics of the University of Pisa, Domenico Scordino<\/strong>, former master\u2019s student of the same Department, and Vishal Parmar<\/strong>, postdoctoral researcher at the INFN section of Pisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The research team investigated the effects of dark matter on electron-capture supernovae, obtaining significant results that attracted the attention of the Phys.org editorial team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
