Welcome

This is the website of the Department of Physics ‘Enrico Fermi’ of the University of Pisa, an internationally recognized center for scientific research and advanced education in Physics and in its interdisciplinary applications. Broad and intense teaching activities are performed for about 1000 undergraduate students, and 60 PhD students and postgraduate specializing students.

At the top places of the national ANVUR ranking 2023-2027, the Department of Physics of the University of Pisa got the highest score for its research (100/100) as well as for its development program (30/30).
