Chiara Roda is a Full Professor at the Department of Physics and, since 2021, has served as the Director of the Physics Department at the University of Pisa. She teaches courses in Classical Physics and Physics Laboratory for Physics and Engineering degree programs.
Her research, conducted in collaboration with the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), focuses on the experimental study of fundamental interactions. She spent several years at the CERN laboratory, participating in experiments dedicated to the study of heavy quarks and neutrinos. Since 1996, she has been a member of the ATLAS experiment, holding various leadership roles and coordinating the ATLAS-Pisa research group for more than ten years.
She is a member of several experiment review committees for both the INFN and CERN’s LHCC Committee.
