PhD in Physics (University of Pisa), his scientific activity was mainly devoted to the study of mesoscopic and nanoscopic system, both from the side of theoretical foundations of non-linear quantum physics and numerical simulation of real systems. Lately he moved to industrial activity in Photovoltaic sector.
In 2000 he co-founded e became President of Solar Systems & Equipment Srl, a research company focused on the industrialization of researcher team know-how about thin-film solar cells. Such project ended in the building of a pilot line for the production of CdTe thin-film solar modules (Arendi SpA – 2006-2013). In the meanwhile he started his collaboration to Solbian Energie Alternative Srl, an Italian company manufacturing innovative solar modules. Since 2010 he’s responsible of R&D department in Solbian, and since June 2012 he has been covering the role of Managing Director.
He published more than 30 scientific papers and he holds two patents about solar energy.
