Research activities

I focus on the theoretical description of strongly correlated electron systems, including light-matter coupling in quantum materials and out of equilibrium dynamics. Recent topics include: dressing of electronic properties due to the electron-photon interaction, ordered phases of entangled photons and electrons, symmetry breaking due to excitonic instabilities and interplay with topology, incompressible electrons in twisted heterostructures, out of equilibrium superconductivity in driven systems and in the presence of many-body dissipation.
