Research activities
My recent research activity covers a few topics of the theory of optoelectronics in graphene and other two-dimensional materials: plasma-wave-based photodetection in the terahertz frequency range; ultrafast electron dynamics following photoexcitation, and its effects on electronic transport properties; electronic transport in the hydrodynamic regime. These research topics are motivated by the intense experimental and technological recent interest in novel two-dimensional materials.
