The Department of Physics has organized a seminar series titled ‘Nuclear Weapons, Disarmament, and Proliferation’.
The first session ‘Climate Consequences of a Limited Nuclear Exchange‘ will take place on May 6, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, in the Galilei room of Building C, Pontecorvo Area.
The seminar will be led by Venance Journé, a researcher from the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique in Paris. Her research interests focus on the risks of nuclear explosions, climate change.

- May 20th: ‘The Militarization of Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Weapon Systems‘
