Research activities:
I have carried out my scientific research in:
– High Energy Physics Experiments: CERN-NA1, CERN-ALEPH, FNAL-CDF, CERN-CMS
– Astroparticle experiments: IAC-CLUE
– Medical Physics: Digital Mammography
Research topics: Standard Model and Beyond, Techniques for Particles Identification and Reconstruction, Multivariate Analysis
Research interests:
Charm & B Physics, tau lepton properties, SM processes: Diboson production. BSM: resonant and non-resonant double Higgs production.
Projects and Awards:
• EU, International Training Network, Project FP7-PEOPLE-2012-ITN, INFIERI, INtelligent Fast Interconnected and Efficient Devices for Frontier Exploitation in Research and Industry. (Member, Executive Committee member, and Coordinator of the WP8 dedicated to the Dissemination & Outreach)
• PRIN 2012, H-TEAM: Trigger, Elettronica Avanzata e Metodi innovativi per misure di precisione nel settore dell’ Higgs ad LHC. (Member and local PI for the Siena University Unit)
• PRIN 2008, Implementazione di nuove strategie di selezione mediante il Silicon Vertex Trigger (SVT) per la fisica del bosone di Higgs e misure della violazione di CP nei decadimenti rari del mesone B a CDF (Member and Project Deputy Head)
