There are several ways to get involved in the Department of Physics, offering support for its teaching, learning, and research activities:
- Peer Tutoring. To join the Tutoring Service, apply to the annual call published at the beginning of the first semester. Selection is based on your academic record and a short interview. The commitment involves about 40 hours in total;
- Teaching Support: Students providing teaching support assist instructors with a specific course through various types of activities, as specified in the corresponding call for applications.
- Scholarships Grants: These scholarships are intended for students of the University of Pisa, or for those who obtained their degree no more than 18 months prior, to carry out study or research activities under the supervision of a university professor.
- Research Grants. These contracts are intended for students enrolled in a Master’s degree program (non single-cycle) or in a PhD program, to carry out research activities under the supervision of the research program coordinator.
