The Department of Physics at the University of Pisa invites all current or former Bachelor’s students in Physics to the Master’s in Physics Open Day on April 9-10, 2025.
This event offers a opportunity to explore the program, discover research areas, and visit the department’s laboratories. Participants will attend course presentations, interact with professors and researchers, and learn about career prospects, PhD opportunities, and international collaborations.
During the guided tour of the laboratories, participants will have the opportunity to explore the facilities and experimental research in areas such as particle physics, condensed matter, astrophysics, and theoretical physics. On April 9th, the event will also feature a theatrical performance: ‘The ‘Mad’ Galileo: Theories of a Revolutionary’. The play offers a reflection on science, faith, and the evolution of knowledge in 17th-century Italy.
